Who is the South Florida Girls Flag Football Player of the Week (2/25/2024)?

The girls flag football season in Florida is already in underway with players of the week polls commencement for kicks-off in every which area. Already, a number of the teams have finished to start the regular season and they are doing so with fantastic individual performances.

With this being said, we currently have eight athletes who have been nominated for the SBLive’s South Florida’s female high school gamesperson of the week award, and we look forward to our fan’s help in selecting someone as the top athlete of the week. Voting will conclude on Sunday, March 3rd at 11:At 6 pm next week, I will disclose the winner of the poll.

Isabella Tassanelli, QB, Pompano Beach: The sener quarterback was a league star to open the season combination 13-of-19 passes for 161 yards and four passes for scores.

Jaylia Stallworth, WR, Palm Beach Gardens: Stallworth, a junior-wide receiver, might as well be the half back in the past games like last week , where he caught 4 passes for 80 yards and 2 touchdowns in a 27-0 win against Lake Worth.

Sakura Barnes, QB, Somerset Academy South Homestead: It may not seem like much, but just being an eighth grader and this prodigy is tearing up the hardwood down in Miami. The Barnes quarterback threw for 177 yards and completed three TDs in a 32-0 thrashing of Monsignor Pace.

Anitra Charlton, LB, Southridge: The number one goal of the pitch defense last week was to allow no time for passer completion. The linebacker, Charlton logged six sacks in Philadelphia's 26-0 victory.

AnaBella Puccio, QB, Western: Even without the pressure and the hype that followed him into his second season, the University of Wilcat's signal caller was right on target in the team's demolishing 35-0 win over Deerfield. Puccio rushed with the success of 13-of-22 passes for 169 yards and for three touchdowns.

Leah Murphy, QB, Lincoln Park Academy: He was at his best in our 47-0 rout of Morningside Academy last week, as he was 9 out of 12 in accuracy terms, for 136 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Jordana Weil, QB, Park Vista: Weill is one of the top quarterback since it seems that he had one of the best passing day by any quarterback this week. The quarterback completed all 32 of 40 passes for 242 yards and five touchdowns as Central Valley took down St. John's-N.M.

Ava Wotipka, QB, Somerset Academy-Canyons: The nineteen-year-old player, in his brilliant career with the team, celebrated a 37-0 win over Pahokee last week with one perfect game (he completed 9 of 11 passes for 185 yards and 5 TDs). Furthermore he carried for 44 yards and score.
