Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown (14) catches a ball in a preseason NFL football game against the Atlanta Falcons in Detroit , Friday, Aug 12.

Riding a momentum off a 2023 big showing that reached the NFC Championship game, the Lions expect to have in place a squad to at least get past the conference final of the next year, 2024.

Lions star wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown has said it all for him and other teammates in eight words that captured what the team intends for the new season.

“Actually we all want to win the Super Bowl,” St. Brown said when asked for comments after the first training camp practice of the summer.

St. Brown is one of the leading hopes for the future of the Lions just for the simple fact of the team’s offense led by rejuvenated Jared Goff, elusive and aching in speed and agility Jahmyr Gibbs and speedster Jameson Williams opposite St. Brown in the receiving end of Goff.

However, transpiring on from the progress made in 2023 and maintaining that head of steam well into 2024 could prove to be a Journey the Lions would have to embark on, particularly within this rather competitive NFC North which includes the likes of Jordan Love’s Green bay packers as well as a brand-new-look Chicago Bears team that as of this moment has more hope than it has had in decades the arrival of Caleb Williams.

Having one of the most talented Detroit Lions teams in the NFL, Dan Campbell has taken it upon himself to channel the team’s personality into that of a crazed head coach.

St. Brown had the same thoughts about Detroit as a team that can go for the championship in 2024.

“We know that we can be the champions of the Super Bowl,” St. Brown said in the interview held on Wednesday. “We have the team we have the coaches; everything that we need to win a Super Bowl now is in this building now, that’s not a joke, that’s our aim, that’s all that we look forward to from now till eternity.

Of course the Lions don’t have any Super Bowl titles, but the team feels it can alter that statistic — and the image of the franchise — this season.
