Moore could have the best year of his career in the first season, with the Bears which had the now potential backup for the Pittsburgh Steelers Justin Fields providing woeful quarterbacking.

Of course, watching the team during the season it was clear that Moore could be a part of the Windy City offense in the future. Looking at the richness of the Bears history, the organization has made the mistake in the past of not providing its young quarterbacks with the proper tools. They did not wish to make same mistake of neglecting Williams, again.

Consequently, Chicago achieved another trade before the 2024 NFL Draft in which a six times Pro Bowl wide receiver Keenan Allen was traded from the Los Angeles Chargers.

Allen was able to receive 108 times and gain 1,243 yards with seven touchdowns the previous season.

Out of all the important pieces in the offense that are controlled by the organization, Allen entering his final year of his contract.

Moore said to reporters that of recent, he has been advising his colleague in the wide receiver position on the next player that the management should offer a new contract.

I repeat to him, ‘Hey man, listen, you know my number?’ Let’s get it done. ’ And so, I, for one, am going to exclude his number form it. But I believe it is possible to achieve that. Well, with that as a premise, it ought to be interestin;.

“I look at our team and we came in six years ago like Rome did, like Caleb and Cole, we have four. So the entire offense is set for the long term as far as I am concerned. ”

Allen is going into his age 32 season, and may only have one big extension in him whether it be in Cleveland or elsewhere. Some may think Chicago prefers to observe how he fits into the team and particularly Williams and the offense in the regular seasons before granting him the number.
