Boston College Football 2024 Freshmen on Offense

Last two or three years have witnessed some optimal rookie talents in the Boston College team’s offence. Surely, the Heights are undeniably a perfect place for development and when experience is crucial the Eagles have been able to locate several promising freshman who were able to make their way onto the field. Two years ago, it was Joe Griffin Jr. who got a lot of action, accumulating 234 yards and five scores — inlcuding this decisive game-tying touchdown against #16 NC State, which has to be one of the Best BC Football Moments of late. Jaedn Skeete showed potential to be an actual star of the team and a man that could blow up this next season.

Despite the fact that many have made it their business to stipulate that BC will have a smaller freshman class in the 2024 year, there are still some big names to mark.

Receivers:

The only wide receiver in this class is the 3-star Cedric Lotte Jr. , Mesquite, TX. BC was the only school that offered him a Placement at P4 level, however, one thing that would easily catch the eyes about Lotte is that he is very big, measuring 6’5 and 200Ibs. As for Lotte, due to the depth BC has at receiver as well as the amount of development he needs, I would not be surprised if he redshirted. With that in mind, every once and a while when he does cross the field he can become a nightmare. Dear Cole, Ryan Boultwood to Lotte is another pass-catcher in the class, he is a 3-star TE from California. Boultwood is in the same position as Lotte, since Ward progresses ahead of him and few other players such as Jeremiah Franklin, Kamari Morales, and Matt Ragan. He will receive good guidance especially from Morales, and later on will be able to make a difference.

Running Back:

Turbo Richard rolls up to the Heights coming from Rock Hill, South Carolina. Certain, Richard is an 85-graded 3-star with a tremendous potential, especially after he gained a 96-yard average per game in the senior year of high school. Richard is a bowling-ball type back standing 5’10” and weighing 207 pounds; the staff are very thrilled about such an acquisition.

Offensive Line:

Offense has the best recruits in terms of potential and the group I think will contribute at the college level immediately is the offensive line. Jadon Lafontant is a good addition with an 85 grade and 3-star rating as a player for the team this season Pape Sy of 89-grade 3-star, and Judah Pruitt also received an 85-grade 3-star to join the team for the season. Lafontant flipped from Kentucky, while BC’s highest-ranked recruit in the class Sy came out of the NFL Academy in London. Sy is also a mountain of a man standing 6’6 and weighing 300 pounds which makes him a bit of a project who, however, has the most potential of the three. Sy and Lafontant were also the only two early enrollees for spring ball, and Pruitt joined in during Summer.

Quarterback:

BC’s quarterback of the class is currently a 3-star 85-grade Johnathan Montague Jr. Montague ranks as the 45 th best prospect in North Carolina. A mobile quarterback with a very strong arm, in his first year playing college football, he will be number four or five in BC’s pass-ing hierarchy.
