High School Football Showdown Week 10 will feature South Grand Prairie vs. Haltom

The next episode of a popular show, the CW33 High School Football Showdown, will air today, Thursday October, 31 at 11.30 and it will join South Grand Prairie and Haltom. This game takes the spot light of week 10 within the season as all teams look for a better place in playoffs. As it stood after the games that were played on October 18th, the two teams are tied at 3-1 records for District 8-6A and thus are tied with Arlington for a second place tie in the district.

The SGP defeated their Crosstown rival the Grand Prairie High School 52-13 Daylon Brooks also threw for 204 yards and 3 touchdowns. Haltom upset Arlington Martin 56-49, placing the Buffalos in a good place to clinch their first playoff spot since World Cup 2020.
Doug Anderson, tackling from the sidelines, Birdville ISD Fine Arts, and Athletics Complex, LaDarrin McLane, and Chris Mycoskie will be providing the play-by-play. The coverage starts at 7:00 p.m. on CW33 TV and the station’s website cw33.com.
