On December 5, 2021, Baron, who was a junior, declared that he would enter the transfer portal. He has since been contacted by dozens of schools, but four programs have stood out in the race for his services: The above teams are, among others, Alabama, Georgia, Texas, and Ole Miss.

Baron’s addition to the defense of any one school will make all four schools national contenders. He is a multifaceted defender that can comfortably hold both positions of the defence end and outside linebacker. During his time at Tennessee, he had a total of 101 tackles, 27 tackles for loss, 13.5 sacks, 3 pass breakups, and 1 forced fumble.

Alabama

They will always look for the best recruits in the states, and Baron is exactly what they need for defense. Baron possesses both speed and agility that he could exploit to counter Alabama’s notorious defensive style.

Georgia

Another regular contender for the national championships is the Bulldogs. Georgia has one of the top defenses in the nation, and Baron would only add to a capable team.

Texas

The Longhorns ascend under coach Steve Sarkisian, as they look forward to reinforcement of their defence. The addition of Baron will give a great impetus for the pass rush of Texas that ended up 45th in the country last season.

Ole Miss

After a successful season in 2023, the Rebels expect good performance in 2024. For instance, bringing Baron into Ole Miss’ defense that came at position 28 in the nation in 2023 would be a welcome boost.

Although it is just at the beginning of the recruitment and Baron has not disclosed the time frame within which he will make up his mind. But, it is evidently apparent that one of the top recruits in the nation, he will be able to select the school at which he wishes to attend.

The college football landscape will be significantly affected by Baron’s decision come 2024. He is one of a kind of player that can change any course in favor of any of those four schools looking forward to getting him on board.

Let’s find out where Baron ends up and I promise not to leave you behind.

Besides the four schools noted previously, Baron has also been approached by LSU, Florida, and Auburn. One of these schools may even be a potential rival to his loyalty.

That’s Baron, an outstanding young chap and no doubt brilliant career ahead. I just cannot wait to see how he finds himself and performs during his college years.
