Johnson is coming off a great season as a sophomore; he registered 27 tackles and four interceptions with one of them being returned to a touchdown. During the NU’s match at night of November 25 against Penn State, he grabbed an interception while on Marvin Harrison Jr. , a former star wide receiver of Ohio State.
In their title duel with Washington, Johnson’s interception came on the first play of the third quarter after he grabbed the pass by Huskies quarterback Michael Penix Jr. , preventing the latter from making a touchdown and successfully clinching the match for the Wolverines. He got National Championship Defensive MVP for appreciable performance of him.
Sharing the footage recently, Johnson made a comparison between him and former Alabama star cornerback Patrick Surtain II, who is a unanimous All American in the year 2020 and currently playing for Denver Broncos and was twice into Pro Bowls.
”I can’t tell if it is the size, the jersey number or what,” an NFC scouting director said to ESPN’s Jordan Reid. “The kid looks like a direct replica of Surtain coming out of Alabama hopefully he runs a 4. 3 and he has all of the tools to be special. ”
The first year he played for the Colorado, Hunter appeared in just nine games but was able to garner consensus All-American status and Paul Hornung Award which goes to college football’s most versatile performer. On offense, he made 57 catches for 721 yards and 5 touchdowns; on defense, he made 30 tackles ans intercepted 3 passes.
EA College Football 25 is to be out on the shelves on July 19. It is to date the latest one since NCAA Football 14 was released back in 2013 marking the absence of college football for 11 years.
