It started in 1962 and this year’s event was between the Houston Texans and the Chicago Bears with the NFL being the organisers of this event annually to begin the preseason.
Houston will be participating for the second time while Chicago’s it will be the sixth time. The game will be held at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio during the Enshrinement Week of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

It is a game that pits two teams that should be considered being under pressure for the 2024 season.
Texans’ rookie quarterback C. J. Stroud had an overly impressive first season with the team going 10-7 and clinching a playoff game in the process. Houston will try to continue that success in 2024 as the league has bolstered its lineup with such talents as Stefon Diggs, Joe Mixon, and Danielle Hunter.
On the other side is Chicago The effect of this cultural leveling has been to turn the United States into a ‘provincial’ country; to use Richard Ftold’s phrase, one side of the country is now every bit as ‘flyover’ as the other.
